I embrace the concept of the medical home where you have a provider who cares for your entire well-being and not just a piece of you. I enjoy caring for pregnant women who want respectful, natural prenatal and birth care along with supporting breastfeeding after the baby is born. I care for entire families and strive to understand the family dynamics that contribute to one’s health. This is all done under the umbrella of using evidence-based medicine and integrative approaches to optimize health.
Medical Interests Full Spectrum Family Medicine, Women’s Health, Maternity Care, Spanish and Latino Health, Access to Healthcare Issues
Personal Interests I completed a 2 year Peace Corps service in Honduras prior to medical school and continue to feel passionate about travel and exploring new cultures. I enjoy backpacking, hiking, camping, crew, running, biking my twins around town, reading historical and international fiction and non-fiction books; singing and trying to get back into playing the piano. I do neither well but love trying to get better at both!
