I was born and raised in a small town in Iowa. Though I will always identify as an Iowan, I have been fortunate to live, and train, all across the United States. My Intern year was spent in a Level I trauma center in Columbus, Ohio providing care for some of the city’s sickest patients. The remainder of my residency was spent training in Sioux City, Iowa on the border of Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota. There I was exposed to a large volume of high risk OB and emergency medicine. As a Family Medicine Physician, I truly enjoy developing lasting relationships with my patients and working with them on their physical and mental wellbeing. I enjoy educating patients on their bodies and taking the time to explain my decision-making process regarding why I recommend a particular treatment option.  I have a strong passion for obstetrical care as well as women’s health. However, I also enjoy providing care for all members of the family. I strive to offer my patients evidence-based, compassionate medicine.
